My Next Step

To our friends, TruNews listeners, supporters, and brothers and sisters in Christ,

Many of you are just as blindsided as we are by the recent turn of events. However, we accept that God is moving me and my family on to something new. We are grateful for all that God has done for us, all the opportunities we’ve been given, and what I have learned from Rick Wiles and the ministry over the last 6 years.

For those of you who watched and supported over the years, we thank you. You are why I’ve had these opportunities. And to those who have reached out to ask how we’re doing and what happens next, we want to be open and honest with you, while still being respectful of others.

When I was let go, my phone, (which was the property of the company) was taken back, along with my phone number, (which was mine prior to working with them). Because the phone had access to my personal email, Facebook, and Twitter accounts, all of those accounts were accessed, and the passwords changed. The only account returned to me was my personal email.

If you have tried to contact me via any of my personal social media accounts, or my previous phone number, I have no access. I was not allowed to export contacts, as part of company policy. I apologize if it seems I have disappeared, it was not my intention, and I am so incredibly grateful for each of you who have reached out in some way to show your support and pray for me and my family.

What am I doing right now? 

I starting working the first job I could find in order to keep paying our bills, and I'm working as a pool cleaner. I am praying and asking for the Lord’s wisdom, and I'm open to any opportunity He has for me. Several people have reached out, and for those suggestions, ideas, and support, I am grateful.

What I have heard from the Holy Spirit, is that if I dedicate myself to use the skills God gave me, along with what He has taught me these last 6 years, to be of service to Him and support my family, He will bless it. But I’m not sure what that looks like yet. I feel He is asking me to be patient, while He does what He does, surprising us with His best!

Why am I setting up a Go Fund Me? 

Because:

• When I was let go from TruNews that Monday morning, I was given that week’s pay with no additional severance or benefits from my 6 years of work.

• I worked most nights and at least one day on the weekends for TruNews, which made it difficult for me to work anything additional to put into savings.

• We received 2 bills for my Covid treatment which was not covered by our company healthcare in the amount of $3020.60.

• My wife, who does work, also has medical bills from her ongoing health condition which our insurance did not pay. (Her 2 most recent procedures were $1500, and $1600 which we pay out of pocket with a partial reimbursement. Her surgery 2 years ago is almost paid off, but care is ongoing.)

• We want to stay ahead of our mortgage, (thankfully, a small one), daily bills, etc.

• I will need to replace my phone and computer in order to seek and fill the next job or mission to which God calls me.
